What we never ask for
What we collect
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Fomo identity (handle, profile id, avatar) | Your player identity, linked through an authorized Fomo integration. |
| Session | An httpOnly cookie that keeps you signed in. |
| Gameplay data | Inputs, positions, shots, hits, loot, storm and eliminations — the server needs them to run the match, and they power replays, fairness proofs, anti-cheat and stats. |
| Entries & results | Which drops you entered, your placements and the signed results. |
| Reward wallet address | To pay prizes, resolved from your Fomo identity. |
| Technical data | IP address, browser and connection details — for security, abuse prevention, region checks and choosing a nearby game server. |
How we use it
- to run matches, decide results and keep the game fair (anti-cheat flags are reviewed by people);
- to check eligibility and drop requirements;
- to pay prizes and publish proof of results and payouts;
- to show profiles, leaderboards, seasons, replays and clips;
- to keep the Service secure and working.
We don't sell personal data and we don't run advertising trackers.
What's public
Drops are spectator events. Your @handle, avatar, placements, eliminations, survival times, profile stats, leaderboard positions, replays and kill-feed lines are public. Live drops can be watched by anyone (official drops with a short delay). Prize payouts are blockchain transactions, so the receiving wallet and amount are public on-chain.
Retention
Match records, signed results and fairness data are kept so results stay verifiable. Anti-cheat records are kept as long as needed to protect competitions. Account data is kept while your account is active. On-chain transactions are permanent by nature and outside our control.
Your choices
You can unlink your Fomo identity, and you can ask us to access, correct or delete your data through the official FomoNite channels. Published results and fairness records may be kept with your handle removed where deleting them would break the integrity of a completed competition. See also the terms.
